Cape Fear Community College is planning a special panel discussion series as part of the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th birthday; it is looking for local veterans and military family members willing to share their stories.
CFCC is seeking participants who served , or the family members of those who served, during the following eras:
World War II
Korean War
Vietnam War
Modern conflicts, including Iraq and Afghanistan
The WWII panel discussion will take place April 6, followed by the Korean and Vietnam wars on April 7 and modern conflicts on April 8. These panels will highlight personal experiences, service, and reflections across generations, helping preserve local military history while honoring those who have served.
