 o the protest march and the Broadway stage. Hosted at the historic Davidso
 n County Courthouse in Lexington\, NC\, this recital traces the story of A
 merica through its music\, connecting major moments in American history an
 d legal tradition to the songs that defined them. Featuring works drawn fr
 om the many communities that make up the American story\, performed by Rev
 erend Kenneth Alexander Pettigrew\, Logan Webber and Arianna Bohning\, thi
 s is a chance to reflect on\, appreciate and celebrate the full American e
 xperience. \n\nA part of The Opera Lite series through Piedmont Opera. \n\
 nWhat is Opera LITE?\n\nWhether you're opera-curious or a lifelong fan\, O
 pera LITE is designed to make opera approachable\, engaging\, and fun. Thi
 s casual concert series features classically trained rising artists in an 
 informal setting that combines beautiful singing with storytelling\, histo
 rical context\, artist conversations\, and audience Q&A. Rather than a tra
 ditional staged opera\, Opera LITE offers themed performances that invite 
 audiences to experience extraordinary vocal artistry without the formality
