April 14th is the opening day for a new year-long exhibit at Charlotte Museum of History!

American Revolution, the Augmented Exhibition immerses you in the key moments of the American Revolution that shaped American democracy.

Thanks to the HistoPad, visitors travel back in time between 1767 and 1789 to discover immersive 3D reconstructions of 15 significant events of the revolution. Along the way, they will explore events such as the Boston Tea Party, the Constitutional Convention, and the Battle of Yorktown, as well as iconic cities and places such as Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Canada, and France.

Developed in partnership with renowned historians and researchers, American Revolution, the Augmented Exhibition celebrates the diverse characters who have shaped American democracy and combines the best of physical scenography and augmented reality to provide an immersive historical experience for all ages. This exhibit is an opportunity to present the revolution in a new way, one that speaks to the hearts and minds of today's American people.
