The Avery County Heritage Festival commemorates the history and heritage of our county including the genealogies of our Avery County families. Traditional craftsmen will demonstrate pioneer life.  Entertainment is provided by local musicians playing traditional bluegrass and gospel selections.  Food and craft vendors will be onsite also.
