DESCRIPTION:Be part of the annual Belmont Juneteenth Celebration\, a vibran

 d\, and community connection. Held at Stowe Park in Historic Downtown Belm
 ont\, the celebration brings together visitors and residents for a day fil
 led with entertainment\, education\, and cultural experiences.\n\nUnlike a
 ny other local festival\, the Belmont Juneteenth Celebration features a th
 oughtfully curated collection of vendors offering handmade goods\, artwork
 \, and food that reflect the richness and diversity of the African America
 n experience. Throughout the day\, guests can enjoy live performances incl
 uding an African drum circle\, steel drum music\, and an evening R&B and j
 azz finale concert.\n\nThe event also includes free family-friendly activi
 ties and community health resources\, creating an engaging experience for 
 all ages in the heart of Belmont.\n\nThe celebration is hosted by Elements
  of Empowerment\, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering cultural
  awareness\, acceptance\, and preservation through artistic and educationa
 l programming. Originally formed as a volunteer committee for Belmont’s 
 first Juneteenth Celebration in 2012\, the organization continues to partn
 er with the City of Belmont to bring this meaningful community tradition t
 o life each year.
