Join a ranger for a guided hike to learn about the local history of the dividing line between North Carolina and Virginia! This hike commemorates the 298th anniversary of William Byrd surveying the area of the State line, found at Mayo River State Park.

We will meet at the kiosk found at the head of the trail at 1 PM on October 24th.

Please wear proper hiking footwear and attire. Please bring water and snacks. 

The hike will be approximately 1.3 miles total, out and back.
