In commemoration of America's 250th, Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte presents the exhibit "Charlotte, A Hornet’s Nest of Rebellion: An Enduring Legacy from the Revolutionary War to Today." Using archives and rare books, the exhibit tells the story of how Charlotte earned this reputation, tracing the history from British General Charles Cornwallis’s 1780 retreat from our region to sports mascots and modern-day social activism. Please check the Atkins Library website for open hours.
