 State Park’s Iron Ore Belt Access to help remove these leafy invaders! \
 n\nTypical workdays start with paperwork for new volunteers (less than fiv
 e minutes) followed by a short hike to the work area where volunteers will
  receive instruction on how to identify the target species of the day. The
  rest of the time will be used on employing hands-on\, seasonally appropri
 ate techniques to remove invasive plants from the landscape\, helping to r
 estore the area for native plants and wildlife. \n\nAdvance registration i
 s required as supplies and space are limited. This opportunity is only ope
 n to volunteers ages 12 and up. Any volunteers under the age of 16 must be
  registered with and accompanied by an adult. \n\nVolunteers should wear l
 ong sleeves (removable layer)\, long pants\, close-toed shoes with socks\,
  and a brimmed hat. Please bring work gloves and loppers or pruning shears
  if you have them\; otherwise they will be provided. Meet at the parking l
 ot of the Iron Ore Belt Access.
