DESCRIPTION:Join local astronomers with the Greensboro Astronomy Club as we
  observe the night skies over the Iron Ore Belt Access. Attendees may expe
 ct to see closer-than-typical views of the moon\, planets\, star clusters\
 , and other celestial objects subject to change with time of year and loca
 l sky darkness.\n\nTelescopes and viewing equipment will be set up on site
  but you may wish to bring your own binoculars or telescope\, plus a chair
  or blanket for seating. Dress for the weather. Flashlights & headlamps sh
 ould have a red-light option or filter to protect your night vision.\n\nSk
 ywatching sessions may be cancelled at the last minute for weather\, so pl
 ease register on Eventbrite so you can be emailed in the event of cancella
 tion.\n\nProgram equipment and instruction provided by members of the Gree
 nsboro Astronomy Club\, which meet the third Friday of each month at the G

 d light at the observing session and keep any light pointed at the ground.
  As your eyes adapt\, a light is not needed at all.\n-Please do not touch 
 any telescopes or other equipment unless permission is given and form a or
 derly line behind each telescope. \n-Please do not allow children or pets 
 to run around the observing area. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6
  feet at all times. This is to protect others' safety and the equipment.\n
