Discussing Home to Harlem by Claude McKay | Monday, June 1st, 6:30pm at Main Library in Hillsborough | As part of Orange County Public Library's Black Literature, Arts, & Culture Festival (BLAC Fest), First Monday Classics Book Club and local author, James Maxey is discussing Home to Harlem by Black, queer author, Claude McKay. The work gives voice to the alienation of Black people in 1920's Harlem when it became a fashionable place to live.
