On September 12, 2026, in partnership with the Person County Branch of the Cooperative Extension, PCMH will invite visitors to step back in time to experience life in our area during the late 1700s and early 1800s.

Costumed interpreters will demonstrate heritage skills that would have been used by residents of the Central Piedmont for generations. These include foodways, domestic tasks (weaving/dyeing/quilting etc), agricultural and industrial tasks and much more. Stay tuned for a full description of the event.
