Historic Latimer House will proudly participate in the America 250 First in Freedom Festival as an official Passport Stamp Cancellation Site, offering visitors a unique opportunity to engage with the nation’s founding history during the festival week, February 21–28.

For one week only, Latimer House will present an extraordinary public viewing of original documents from three Founding Fathers—George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. These rare and significant items are part of the archive of the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society, which is celebrating 70 years of historic preservation work in the region.

In recognition of service, active-duty and veteran military members will receive free admission with valid ID throughout the festival week. Limited tickets are available online at the Latimer House website.
