Although much has been written about George Washington, one aspect of his life is typically underrepresented – His ability to adapt to the challenges in the early stages of the American Revolution.  Taking on the most powerful military force in the world forced Washington to frequently break with conventional thinking in his personal life and leadership.  We will explore how George Washington and his compatriots successfully engaged the British in unexpected ways to form a nation.
