A history lecture is set for Saturday, June 13, at 3:00 p.m. in Davis Hall at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville. General J.R. Gorham will share his “Sharecropper’s Wisdom” with those in attendance. This event serves as a kickoff to the Juneteenth event at Alexander County Courthouse Park.
