Join a Park Ranger and hike our Lake Trail. While on this trail, we will: talk about our lake and how it was built, talk about what makes this area an important part of our park, and identify various plant and animal species. This is a relatively simple 1.0 mile hike that has little elevation gain, some rocky areas, boardwalks, and potentially muddy areas. Be sure to bring water, good shoes for hiking, and weather-appropriate clothing. Registration is required, please email Ranger Jackson at jackson.perry@ncparks.gov
