Landscapes of Freedom: Connecting Stories from Price Park to the Guilford College Woods
About this Event
1420 Price Park Dr, Greensboro, NC 27410
Explore three different visions and representative eras in the history of our land: the early 18th century, the American Revolution, and the early 19th century with a presentation and update about current conservation efforts, programming, and new research relating to the history of this land. This program will go beyond the walls with a guided walk from the library to Guilford's Witness Tree with time for reflection and learning together in community. A partnership between Greensboro Public Library and Guilford College, this project is supported through a grant from America 250 NC, a program of the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and is the second of three related programs held at Greensboro sites in Spring 2026.
