Military Appreciation Day: Hammocks Beach State Park is teaming with the Swansboro Area Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee to celebrate those who have served, those currently serving, and their families. It’s a day of free fun, with food, music, games, crafts, exhibits, and free (limited) ferry rides to Bear Island, all to show our appreciation for their service and many sacrifices.
