Join a Park Ranger for a morning canoe paddle on our 12-acre lake. Learn the basics of canoeing, why boating safety is important, and what makes our lake special. While there is no swimming portion during this program, you will likely get splashed, so be sure to wear appropriate clothing. Bring water and sunscreen. This program is for everyone, however, anyone 15 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and there is limited space – please email Jackson.perry@ncparks.gov to register. This program is weather dependent.
