The NC Museum of Natural Sciences Advisory Commission will meet for quarterly updates from the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, a Director’s Report from Denise Young, and Commissioner Q&A. The meeting will also feature a Moment of Science presentation by Dr. Roland Kays, Director of the Biodiversity Research Lab, who will share highlights from his summer 2026 expedition retracing the historic route of Lewis and Clark, comparing historic wildlife observations with modern camera-trap data to explore how the US has changed in the past 250 years.
