Join us as we celebrate the Auger Hole Trail at Gorges State Park in Transylvania County!

Please meet at the Frozen Creek Trailhead at 1:00 pm on September 11 for a 2 hr event including a dedication of the forest into the Old-Growth Forest Network and guided experience on the Auger Hole Trail, one of the few old-growth forests left in Transylvania County. This program is free and open to the public, but spots are limited to 20 people for the guided hike. The total hike is approximately 2 miles with moderate difficulty and elevation gain.
