North Carolina History Day invites educators to a free virtual workshop focused on helping students create historical documentaries using short-form video. In partnership with KQED and PBS LearningMedia, National History Day® (NHD) will offer hands-on training, ready-to-use curriculum tied to the 2026 NHDtheme Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History, and guidance for participating in the PBS Youth Media Challenge on the American Revolution. To support this work, DNCR and North Carolina History Day can provide free access to WeVideo for Schools to help NC teachers and students bring history to life through video storytelling.
