Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Halifax Resolves, the first official action by an entire colony recommending independence from Great Britain.  On Friday and Saturday, enjoy two days of living-history activities, historic weapons demonstrations, military drills, and interact with characters from Halifax’s past. Guest speakers will also give presentations on various topics. On Sunday, the living-history activities will continue.  In the afternoon, the NC Society Sons of the American Revolution will host their annual wreath-laying ceremony, and the Historical Halifax Restoration Association will host the annual Halifax Day ceremony, followed by a reception.  Free.
