DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Halifax Resolves\, the f
 irst official action by an entire colony recommending independence from Gr
 eat Britain.  On Friday and Saturday\, enjoy two days of living-history ac
 tivities\, historic weapons demonstrations\, military drills\, and interac
 t with characters from Halifax’s past. Guest speakers will also give pre
 sentations on various topics. On Sunday\, the living-history activities wi
 ll continue.  In the afternoon\, the NC Society Sons of the American Revol
 ution will host their annual wreath-laying ceremony\, and the Historical H
 alifax Restoration Association will host the annual Halifax Day ceremony\,
  followed by a reception.  Free.
