Its that time of year again! Come celebrate the summer at Merchants Millpond State Park with our 4th year of the Summer Junior Adventure Series! In this series, we have a different topic that we teach about every Monday at 10 AM throughout the summer. 

This week we'll talk about animals and their camouflage! We know that animals come in all different colors, but this often correlates with their environment. For most animals, the best way to stay safe is to never be seen at all! Whether its hiding from predators or setting up an ambush, camouflage plays an important role in the animal kingdom, so come out to the Millpond and learn about some of our creatures and their clever camouflage! 

This program is for all ages. We will begin promptly at 10 AM at the visitor center. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather as some of this program may be outside.
