Return of the Wild: A Lewis & Clark Resurvey
About this Event
121 West Jones Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
Starting May 1, Museum mammalogist Dr. Roland Kays and colleagues will retrace the historic route of Lewis and Clark, comparing historic wildlife observations to what camera traps find today. Along the way, Kays and company will meet local experts to learn how animal populations have changed over the 250 years of our country’s history. Follow along on the Return of the Wild website and YouTube channel. You can also join us at the Daily Planet Theater (or on the Museum’s YouTube channel) for live check-ins with the team at 1pm on May 3, 10 and 16 as well as 11am on May 28, June 4 and June 17.
