Attention Teachers! North Carolina History Day invites you to apply to participate in National History Day's BRAND NEW Revolutionary Ideals webinar series in partnership with the American Historical Association to learn with top historians in the field. Two teachers from North Carolina will be selected to participate in this free opportunity and can earn graduate credits or professional development hours.

Open to: Teachers or librarians in grades 4 -12. 120 total spots are available, with two guaranteed for North Carolina teachers.

Dates: March 30, 2026 to February 17, 2027 

Credit: Teachers may earn 90 professional development hours OR three graduate extension credits at no cost.

Deadline and Notification: Apply here by February 27, 2026, to be considered.  All candidates will be notified about acceptance to the program on or before March 13, 2026, and the course will launch on March 30, 2026.
