Join the Friends of Lake Norman State Park for a ladies hike! They will hike the Lake Shore Trail south (towards campground) then turn left on Short Turn trail, moderate hike, 3.2 mile loop. No registration is required. 

Kathy Layton have been a recreational hiker since 1998.  Some overnight hikes on the AT, several National Park hikes and Kathy has completed my goal of hiking in all of our NC State Parks.  Kathy find great pleasure and enjoyment being outdoors and on the trails.
