Join us during Spring Garden Lovers’ Weekend as Tryon Palace hosts the “Skirmish at Tryon Palace” fencing tournament on the South Lawn! Bouts will commence throughout the day starting at 10 A.M. when the grounds open.

Whether you’re a fencing enthusiast or just looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday, this will be a fun event for the whole family. To make it even better, viewing the tournament will be free and open to public along with with Palace Grounds and Gardens during the event weekend!

You can also check out the Spring Heritage Plant Sale on the grounds by the Daves House. It’s a great opportunity to find some plants you won’t find in other retail locations and to purchase plants that are from the Tryon Palace Gardens.

Palace tours and admission to certain locations and exhibits will require a ticket purchase.
