Take a behind the scenes tour of the Vance Birthplace and discover the story of Elizabeth Hemphill!

Elizabeth and her post office became the center of Vanceville, a community that developed in the Reems Creek Valley after the Vances moved to Asheville in the 1840s. Uncover her story and explore our artifact collection on this behind the scenes tour of the Vance house.
