DESCRIPTION:Honoring America’s Forgotten Patriots at the USS North Carolina
 \n\nAs part of the nationwide commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary\
 , the Stamp Defiance Chapter\, NSDAR\, invites the public to the Dedication
  of the Daughters of the American Revolution America 250 Plaque honoring Am
 erica’s Forgotten Patriots of the American Revolution.\n\nThe dedication wi
 ll take place on March 20\, 2026\, at 10:00 a.m. at Battleship Park\, home 
 of the USS North Carolina\, in Wilmington\, North Carolina. Remarks will be
  provided by Dr. Jay Martin\, Director of the USS North Carolina\, along wi
 th additional commentary recognizing the service and sacrifice of Forgotten
  Patriots whose contributions helped secure American independence.\n\nThe S
 ons of the American Revolution Color Guard will present the Colors. The Eug
 ene Ashley High School NJROTC will serve as Honor Guard and lead the Pledge
  of Allegiance\, and the Tryon Palace Fife and Drum Corps will perform trad
 itional 18th-century military tunes. A reception will follow the dedication
  ceremony.\n\nThe National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is 
 proud to be the first heritage society to formally partner with America250\
 , the nationwide initiative led by the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission. 
 This partnership supports DAR’s mission to honor Revolutionary War Patriots
 \, promote education\, engage youth\, and highlight the diverse individuals
  who shaped our nation’s founding
