Join the Hammocks Beach staff as we host the NC SciFest Star Party Event:  "Mission to the Moon".  This is an after hours event filled with a variety of hands-on space-themed activities for all ages. Families can build and test their own Moon landing modules, launch stomp rockets, and construct creative Moon bases while learning about engineering and life in space. Visitors can explore the night sky through telescopes, listen to cultural sky stories during Storytelling Under the Stars, and try challenges like the Rover Maze, Lunar Twister, and Lunar Bean Bag Toss. Additional rotating activities from NC SciFest offer quick STEM experiences throughout the event. Together, these stations blend science, imagination, and exploration to inspire curiosity about our universe.
