 orth Carolina’s public universities have adopted a requirement for all s
 tudents to complete a course in the Foundations of American Democracy. Fea
 turing a panel of distinguished UNC historians Kathleen DuVal\, W. Fitzhug
 h Brundage\, and Joseph T. Glatthaar\, and moderated by Deputy Secretary f
 or Office of Archives and History\, Dr. Darin Waters\, join us for a discu
 ssion to learn more about how students are tackling the key principles and
  arguments around the American founding and the ongoing effort to form “
 a more perfect Union.” Foundational documents housed in the State Archiv
 es will also be on display.
