On July 4, at 10 am, the town of Mocksville will host a ceremony to open the Mocksville Bicentennial Time Capsule. This capsule was dedicated on December 12, 1976, which marked the end of the Bicentennial celebration. Attendees will be allowed to witness the capsule's opening and to see firsthand the items that have been buried within for the last forty-nine and a half years.
